THE FACE
Film (2017)
The Face - A Search for Traces was created for the exhibition of the same title, held at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden in 2017. It deals with a cultural-historical significance of facial representations and portraits in art, research and everyday life as well as the effects of facial recognition and related automated processes.
The film was written in collaboration with the literature and cultural studies scholar Prof. Dr. Sigrid Weigel and commissioned by the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden and the Interdisciplinary Laboratory Image Knowledge Design Berlin.
